Here is something that I want to make my mash-up like. I want it to be heavily focused on the music and maybe, but maybe more of a narrative. A music video of footage that doesn't really fit with the music would be really fun.

Good Videos
Here are a few videos that I want to make my final project like. I like the simple, but effective style and the humor. The way they use music is good as well.

I liked this one because it was really simple and the music played a big part in creating the mood. Even though it was basically the same thing for a couple of minutes, I liked the variety in the shots, the foods, but the consistency in the punches and music.

This one is similar, I like the role that the music plays, the repetition, and the humor that comes from that repetition.

In Camera Edit
01/08/09
A person throwing darts at a dart board. The camera is near the dartboard looking at the thrower. The thrower is in focus and as the darts come near they go out of focus. The focus then switches.
Or we could change the perspective and the camera could be behind the thrower and the dartboard is out of focus. All we see is the thrower throwing at a blurry wall. The focus slowly changes to reveal the target, but now the thrower is out of focus. I think this one is better.
I think an experiment with focus and darts would be an interesting thing to see because you're always trying to concentrate on two things, the thrower and the board. This will force the audience to only look at the spot in focus.
